Terms of Use

What to keep in mind when using YOMI (the "App"). Please read this together with Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

This is a translation. The Japanese version is the authoritative text.

1. Readings

The horoscopes, readings and written books in the App are for entertainment. We do not promise that they are accurate, come true, or are useful.

Decisions about your health, wellbeing, money, work, legal matters or relationships are yours to make. When needed, please consult a qualified professional.

2. Text written by AI

Readings are written by external AI. They may contain things that are untrue, out of date, or inappropriate. What the App looks up about companies, schools or places may also be wrong or out of date. Please check anything important against other reliable sources.

3. Weather, calendar and astronomical calculations

Planet positions are approximate calculations, and weather comes from an outside service. Both may contain errors or delays.

4. Your records

Records may be lost or fail to come back because of a device failure or a sync or network problem. For anything important, keep a copy with "Take your records with you" in Settings.

5. Changes, pauses and ending the App

We may change the App or pause it without notice. If we end the App, we will tell you in the App in advance. Refunds for in-app purchases follow Apple's rules.

6. Limits of our liability

If you suffer damage in connection with using the App, then, except where we acted intentionally or with gross negligence, the amount we pay is capped at the total you paid in the App during the 12 months before the damage occurred (or 1,000 yen if you paid nothing). This cap applies only where the damage was caused by our ordinary (slight) negligence.

7. What you enter

When you enter information about other people, such as "people on your mind", please be considerate of them. Any dispute between you and another person about what you entered is for the two of you to resolve.

8. Governing law and court

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute about the App shall be brought exclusively, in the first instance, before the district court with jurisdiction over our address.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and its date. For important changes we will also tell you in the App. For privacy, see our Privacy Policy.
